Location: Austin Pizza Garden, Austin Tx.

Case Notes: This investigation was brief and part of an outing with the meetup social group " Austin Ghost Hunters." The manager granted us run of the place as they were closing up. It was by no means a full investigation, but I wanted to share the experience as well as the history of the place. The manager has seen some strange things happen like silverware fly across the room, and many claim the upstairs to be extremely eerie. My experience there was calm and quiet. There did appear to be a cold spot upstairs and some people felt strange sensations in that cold spot. But those things coupled with no photo's or EVP's captured does not convince me it's haunted. I loved the feel of the place. If you want some good food, friendly atmosphere and a bit of Texas history then don't pass up the opportunity to stop in at the Austin Pizza Garden.

Historical Marker: "Influenced by the style of early German rock buildings in central Texas, James Andrew Patton (1853-1944) supervised the construction of this building in 1898. A German mason laid the stone. Patton fought Comanches as a Texas Ranger and was a civic leader and local postmaster. He was known affectionately as "the mayor of Oak Hill." He and his family, followed by others, operated a general store here for many years. The building also housed a local Woodmen of the World lodge hall on the second floor. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1970"
