The topic of ghosts or paranormal is off the beaten path of typical social conversation. There’s no subtle way to transcend into this kind of discussion unless it is Halloween and you are sharing ghost stories. Since founding G.H.O.T., I find this topic to surface more and more as my involvement with clients, locations, and the media increase.

Why does a person choose to chase nothing around in the dark? For me, it is seek the truth of life occurring after death. It is to understand or try to understand what happens to us when we leave our physical form. It is to share what I learn, and educate those who contact me, that what they are experiencing is nothing to fear. Like many of you, it is the unknown that frightened me the most as a child. It is also Hollywood’s renditions of true stories of paranormal cases that scar our memories. All that visual stimulation is the only thing we have to compare a big fat nothing to. So where’s the happy medium? (pardon the pun) Those answers are found hidden in pages of books told by gifted psychics or by first hand accounts of people living or growing up in a haunted location. Yet, the skeptic in us all still doesn’t really want to take someone else's experience as fact either. Those stories and our faith is all we have to believe.

When I was younger, I was afraid of the dark. I don’t know why. Many kids fear the dark. I had experiences when I was younger, that I still can’t explain. Any relative or friend I was ever close to that passed has visited me in my dreams. In my teens I experimented heavily with the unknown. I’ve always been intrigued with the paranormal.

I want to understand how they exist and why they exist. Do they have options of places they could go? Is there a light? Why do they stay? Are they here to protect, harm or warn us? I’ve read countless books in my quest, and there are still more to read. I’ve investigated a number of locations and growing to believe and understand a ghost once had a life or many lives. Ghosts were once people too, some were good and some were bad, and are the same without their physical form. I also believe everyone has a 6th sense. I am trying to fine tune mine. No, I don’t claim to be the Ghost Whisperer, but will say when tuned into my surroundings, I notice changes in atmosphere and energy. Have you ever looked up because you could feel someoSne starring at you, and when you look up there IS someone starring at you? Ever feel someone else’s energy as they stand right next to you. You weren’t looking, but could feel them near. All these things can still happen if there is a ghost or spirit attached to a person, house, object or land. Does it mean bad things? No, but we sometimes fear it because we can’t see it. I hunt ghosts to learn, share what I learn and help people understand.
